I’ve seen a few photos of the Glasgow University Cloisters, and have always wondered where they are, and what they’re like.
After a few hours of wandering around the university grounds, Mike and I finally found them. My first reaction was to take the obligatory symmetrical tourist shot, of course, and then try to do something a bit more original.
The fresh and original view will have to wait, as we couldn’t resist the geeky extravaganza of the nearby Hunterian museum, with its Egyptian Mummies, oscillating wine glasses, and hand-driven electrical experiments! Kind of like “Glasgow Science Centre” for the hardcore.

Great shot Alan, love the contrast and tone. The low perspective works really well as well.
