Photo Friday: Darkness.
My entry into this weeks Photo Friday competition: Darkness.
Taken last weekend whilst walking in Linn Park. One path in the park closely follows the Cart, and is totally unlit. A real haven for neds to sit and drink buckfast all night, so perhaps I shouldn’t have been there! Never mind, I came back in one piece.

That is a super photo. It really does fit the “darkness” theme. I’m not sure I totally decoded your Glasgow jargon though! haha!

Neds = hoodlum youths
Buckfast = their preferred strong alcoholic drink.
So, basically the place is often full of very drunk teenage nutcases.
Sometimes these chaps are “tooled up” (carrying a knife) and will threaten to “gie ye the malkie” (stab you, or attack you in a grievous manner).
