I’ve been meaning to post this shot for ages. It was taken about 3-4 weeks ago at the height of my red-sky fascination. Basically this shot has been next in line in my publishing queue for some time, but has been put off a number of times.
Sadly things on the site are going to wind down now, as I’m away on holiday until Christmas – we fly out to tour Australia next Wednesday. I hope to manage to post once a week, or so, but it’s unlikely.
This is our first and only holiday of 2005, so Amanda and I are absolutely desperate to get away and unwind!!
I’ve been doing the blog since May, so I think it’ll be strange to be out-of-touch for so long – it’s been more fun than I could ever have imagined, and I’m grateful for the comments and criticism you’ve all given me in the last few months. Its great to see visitors from all over the world coming back to the site, too (Hullo to Mauritius, Alaska, and Papa New Guinea, as well as the US, Canada, Australia and parts of Europe).
If any of you considering starting a photoblog, then just get stuck in and you’ll never look back… it really is that much fun.
Anyway, here endeth the sermon. Hope you like this one, as both Mike and I had to trek through mud for about 10 minutes to get the shot. I was so caked in mud that I had to drive home barefooted and with turn-ups in my jeans.
