Our lovely hostel, at Byron Bay - the Cape Byron YHA.

Both of us were really impressed by the quality of the hostel accomodation we got - the new modern youth hostels are superb, with swimming pools, and private rooms available (yay, no communal snoring!).

Returning from 4 weeks in the sun has been a real shock to the system (our average temperature has dropped 40 celcius, or about 65 fahrenheit!!).

Still, it is nice to be back to creature comforts, and to catch up with friends…
