This is the furthest away we can go on our 1-hour lunchbreak. Once we start down this path, we’re officially on our way back to work. A depressing thought indeed, even for someone who enjoys their job!
I suppose we could go further if we walked faster, and took the main road rather than the side roads … but hey, the whole point of it is to relax, eh?

How could such a lovely looking path lead you to such a terrible place as work? Great photo, Alan, I love the perspective.
One little complaint is the blown out bit of grass in the bottom left corner. Probably couldn’t be avoided, in order to get the correct exposure for the shadows.
