Stock Scotland #1

Stock Scotland #1

Been away for a few days, on a surprise trip “up north” for myself and Amanda. We stopped overnight at Dornie (above Fort William) and Digg (on the Isle of Skye). This is Eilean Donan, Scotland’s “most photographed” castle, apparently.

On several occasions we’ve passed places that are totally familiar from the Harry Potter films, as well as a whole lot of Land Rover adverts. It’s quite surreal.

Anyway. unfortunately the weather was pretty horrendous, and I forgot a jacket (d’oh!) so not too many outdoors shots. :-(

Very beautiful photo of the castle. I love the mist in the background, it gives the picture some mystery

The castle really pops off the page, where it’s so crisp and clear and the background so misty and gloomy.

Its because I photoshopped it on top… err, ooops!

No, honestly thats exactly how it was. Levels have been tweaked etc, but nothing like that done … I think it might be a tad oversharpened…

Top class picture, have fond memories of Dornie (my friend runs a pub there) and the castle always takes my breath away. Beautifully captured!!
