I’ve past this a few times, sitting on the side of Loch Lomond, as we head out to take some photos elsewhere.
This time, we stopped and got a few shots. It’s typical that the shots I waiting over an hour for were worthless, but this quick shot ended up being the pick of the bunch.
I really should learn up about the laws surrounding “Private Property” in Scotland – there were no signs telling us to go away, however I have a feeling we weren’t really meant to be here …

a very beautiful picture. The warm evening light gives a very warm feeling (or is it very early in the morning?). Good composition too.
and as jason sad: feeling of adventure – something like india jones’ plane – or marlboro?
could be very interesting for stock market! Great stuff here…

Could this get much weirder?
I’m a photographer, taking my private pilots license to fly a floatplane so I can get some aerial shots, and you are of the same name and profession, taking a cracking photo of the same plane.
And yes.., excellent shot.
PS. I hope you don’t look like me, too!

At first I thought someone as winding me up and trying to post as “me” on the site.
Eerily similar, I’d like to learn to fly at some point… although photography is not my main profession … I’m a software engineer by day.

Pasci … the shot was taken at sunset, around 10pm in the evening. The plane was side-lit by a tungsten lamp, which really pushed the sunset light to extreme orange.
