Loch Lomond Shore

Loch Lomond Shore

This was the shot I planned on taking, on Saturday night … however standing on the edge of the loch meant we were getting inundated with “midges” – tiny vicious biting insects.

The midges are especially bad during summer, during summer evenings, and in particular, during summer evenings beside water. Mike had a hooded jacket, however I wasn’t so fortunate. Insect repellant has been added to my kit bag, so hopefully I’ll not be writing about this again!

p.s. I somehow managed to become listed within the PhotoBlogs.org “Hot” list. Many thanks to those of you who bookmarked me, and hope you all keep coming back for more.

Ohh a boat plane, not seen that.

And get some Avon Skin So Soft. Best midge repellant on the planet (seriously, the army requisition it by the caseload)
