After my last post, I had a look at some of the other photos I’d taken in the last month or so - and realised I did have some other pictures I’d like to post.
Being a bit of a geek, I was utterly amazed by Berlin’s U-Bahn - a great use of modern technology to provide clean, prompt and cheap travel around the city. Amazingly, at least one of the train stations doubles as a nuclear bunker, with huge blast doors closing over the train tracks to seal the train station from the outside world.
I was fortunate enough to fit in a tour of the bunker, although sadly no photos are allowed…
