If there’s one fantastic thing about moving house, it’s exploring the little roads and lanes in the surrounding area.
There’s a crazy tangle of tiny country lanes near us – at one point they must have been busy roads, but now the dual carriageways less than half a mile away have rendered them pointless.
Tonight I just went out for a drive, and was pleased by the way the distant city glow eerily lit the clouds. This gate was the only thing I could find that could frame the odd lighting… so here you go.
Serious brownie-points to anyone who can pinpoint the location
p.s. let me know if you’d be interested in my old battle-axe of a D70. It would be sold body-only, or with a rather impractical 35-105 lens. Used to take many of the pictures on the blog, obviously.
