Up until a few weeks ago… I didn’t even know Strathaven had an airfield. Also, this was the first time I’d been on an air “field”, as it really is a fairly flat long stretch of grass that’s cut quite short. 
I had went along to watch my mate take his first flying lesson, and I was hoping for a few nice picture opportunities to present themselves. Am glad to say they did.
An enjoyable morning, which culminated in another pilot taking me up for a quick spin in his own micro-light, which was fabulous. Trying to arrange another jaunt, this time being prepared for some aerial photography
