Och, I know this is a bit of a daft one… but I don’t see why every picture has to be a serious landscape.
For some reason I’ve always had a fascinating with Highland Cattle – they are a worldwide symbol of Scotland. A popular misconception is that these are “Aberdeen Angus” cattle. They’re not. So you can rest easy when tucking into a burger at TGI Fridays.
Taken with my old beaten-up 300mm f4 Nikkor AI lens. It’s covered in scratches and bangs on the metal barrel, but keeps trucking on, giving some of my more expensive new lenses a real showing-up.
I had changed lenses to try and capture a pheasant, but I just couldn’t get the right angle on the bird.
